She shoots the Russian an angry look and turns her eyes back to their host. She watches him carefully, unsure if he has chosen to rescind his offer. If he does not seem reluctant after the outburst,s he will continue.

“I don’t wanna upset you. If you still want to teach, I’ll try to not screw it up.”

Beovyn's expression revealed little, though his tone was firm when he spoke.
"It seemed like you have a passion for this, and that is what made me extend the offer. You have to want it though. I would be teaching you as I was taught, and it is not for dabblers or fakes. I will push you to your limits and beyond, but you will become one with the craft and stronger for it. You say you are a screw up. That can change."

He looked back and forth between his two guests.
"While I would typically not allow such a distraction, I would make allowances for your search for your brother. If he is sighted or what have you, you will be excused to seek him out. Is this something you can dedicate yourself to? The pursuit of becoming one with the forge, the hammer, the steel, the fire? This is your only chance to take this offer, and whether you accept or decline there is no turning back."

Arkadi reached out an arm to Tori's shoulder, sensing her nervousness. "Hey. You can do this. We'll find your brother, too, but you should take this chance. Trust me."

She will look up at Arkadi, mild panic showing in her body language as her arms crossed around her chest defensively.

She looks back at the man, feeling the pressure of the Russian's suggestion and this stranger's intense passion for the one thing she loved anywhere near as much as her brother.

“Allowances? Does that mean I live here and don’t do anything else? Like this is it, forever? Where would I sleep? And what is your rule on recreational medications?”

It would be for as long as it takes for you to become a master in your own right. You would stay here, I can easily make you a place to sleep. As for the...drugs I guess you are saying? As long as they are not interfering with your learning and performance, and if you share, then have at." the closest thing to a grin that he'd displayed so far crack across his face when he spoke the last.

She sighs a huge sigh of relief and visibly relaxes, a wide grin spreading over her face. “That, my large metallic friend, is a deal! But how do I pay? Arkadi and I have an arrangement.”

Beovyn stroked his beard as he considered the question.
"What kind of arrangement, and, more importantly, what kind of arrangement or payment would you be willing to pay for this opportunity?" he asked in the same firm tone.

She shrugs nonplussed. "I had drugs and skin to trade. My brother had the money and the brains. And some dudes kicked my ass and took my drugs...so." She looks unashamed that this is what she has to give.

Beovyn nodded.
"I'll teach you how to not get your ass kicked as well. For that, and apprenticing under me the skin will do along with cooking and cleaning while you are here."

He held out his dominant hand, which was strong and calloused, natural unlike the other.
"Do we have an accord?"

She laughs a deep, mirthful laugh. "Do I look like someone who knows how to cook? I will make sure you eat. If I can make some money to buy it." She holds out hand

He shook Tori's hand.
"I will provide for food and the like. Worry not about your cooking skill. With enough mead who can really taste it?"

She chuckles and grips his hand firmly, her grip surprisingly strong.

"I don't know what this mead stuff is, but if it is anything like h, I get it! So um I guess we have a deal huh?"

Appearing impressed at her grip he returns the firmness.
"In fact we do. We should feast in celebration!" He looks to Arkadi.

"I think her first completed piece should go to you for making this possible. What do you think?"

She looks antsy, her eyes turning back to the fire, she smiles. "I always love a party." She reaches out again for the table, running her fingers absently along it.

Beovyn chuckled as he cracked open a nearby barrel, splashing some the honey colored contents into mugs. He passed out the potent brew to the both of them, but his gaze stayed on the woman.

She looks to the mug, takes it and gives it a sniff. "What is this stuff?" she asks looking up at Beovyn. "Did you put rufees in this? Because I don't need those." She laughs, picking up the mug and tossing it back.

He shrugged.
"I don't think so. I don't know what those are. It's just fermented honey and berries really. Some yeast, obviously. That's it. Some like to skim off the foam, but I think it is all good."

She shakes her head violently, then laughs. "Hoooooo shit. That kinda sneaks up on you. But it's smooth. And a rufee is a drug that usually knocks girls out so guys can have their way with them."

He cocked his head to the side.
"Knocks them out? That's no fun." He shrugged.

"I don't know if my mead competes with this H, but it certainly does the trick. I may also have just a little cocaine left somewhere around here."

Tori smiles. "Oh yes, this will do just fine." she says drinking more of the sweet amber liquid.

"Coke is fine too, unless you need me to leave you two homos alone." she laughs.

"I'm not in the mood to take a man. Besides, we would bring the whole Hall down in that fight."

He dug around in a wooden chest near the pile of furs that he used as a bed.
"Ah yes. As you say Arkadi. Here we go." he said as he pulled out a small baggie of white powder.
