The Bar (Metropolis, Open)

Now that she knew that Metropolis is back, she did the first thing she could do. Confront him about buying the bar. Looking up at the waterworks before her, a deep breath was let in, as she slowly makes her way towards the door. Her eyes looking around, taking in the surroundings of the place before stopping to talk to one of the guards. "Is Metropolis in? I was hoping to discuss something with him."

The "guard" seemed distant when she spoke to it. Then from around a corner, she heard "Pssst." a glance would reveal a Red-Haired man with strange goggles on his head beckoning her around the corner.

Turning her attention to the strange red-haired man, she arches her eyebrow before following him around the corner.

The Doctor was standing around the corner near the door of the waterworks. "Do you always follow strange men around corners? " There was a smarmy smirk on his lips.

Smirks "not all the time...Sometimes they follow me." Shrugs her shoulders in a joking way. "Anyways, I was hoping to discuss with you on the matters of the bar?"

He looked up "Bar...bar...bar...I'm drawing a blank. I've had a lot going on in the past month. Like being kidnapped and tortured...dying...getting a letter from some very misguided people." He shook a piece of paper and an envelope.
"Refresh me."

"Oh, sorry. It's a bar you currently own, It's on 6th and Elzer. I was hoping I would be able to purchase the bar from you." She bit on her lower lip while looking towards him.

"What? Why? I like that bar....or other I liked that bar." He scratched his head. "So much going on... Why do you need it.?"

"Well..."She mused over on how to explain this to him. "I always wanted to own a bar, plus. From the looks of it, it has not been touched in so long...I can bring it up to date, make the place brand new." Smiles slightly

Metropolis furrowed his brow. "What do you mean bring up to date?" Most of the fixtures in there are brand new..." He stared at her for a moment... "You want something. Fess up, I'm not the person to lie to. the only reason that I'm not kicking you out of here is because you have that Beo-baby inside of you." He said as he looked down at her stomach which certainly wasn't showing.

She sighs "there is a map in the basement, showing the surrounding areas, including the water works, and the barn. With it being embedded into the ground, no one can have it, unless you own the bar itself. I am sure you already know this." She looks down at her stomach, than back up to him. "Hey, I am not even a month in yet, how did you know?"

"Because I know. Your Eggo is Preggo, Juno." He smirked.
"Yeah, I know all about the basement....It was a project of mine when I was on the other side."

She held her stomach, and shakes her head.
"Yeah yeah."
Sighs before listening to him.
"What would it take to purchase the bar from you? I will clean the place from top to bottom, restock the food, drinks, and have the place open."

"The bar does need to be open and I don't have the time to run it... But I don't want to just give it to you.  Lets do this...If you can bring me some of Harlan's Crystal Lightning Tass.  Like two of them.  I would probably think you were resourceful enough to be my bar manager.  That and I'm going to need to get some people off your back."

"Deal," she smiles warmly, making a mental note to speak to Harlan when she leaves the area. "Thank you so much for this opportunity, I will be back with the Harlan's Crystal Lightning Tass." More she thought about it, she began to wonder if that was even something he is willing to just give away. Turning on her heels, she began to walk away.
